End the summer with Sound & Waves

We are excited to announce the next in Perth Symphony’s Science and Innovation series: Sound & Waves.
Immerse yourself at Perth Symphony Orchestra’s production of Sounds and Waves, a celebration of the unique and spiritual relationship West Australians have with the ocean.
Set by the sea on Wednesday 25th March at the iconic B Shed in Fremantle, the program will include a bespoke mix of music designed to evoke a sense of movement and awaken the spirit of the ocean; from classical to contemporary pieces including a WA Premiere and soundscapes. Live music from Perth Symphony strings and guest artists will be interwoven with stories told by individual West Australians whose connections to the sea are deeply profound and reflect our own experiences in this isolated but beautiful part of the world.
Whether you surf, swim, fish, sail, or came to Perth by boat, this concert aims to bring to life our Indian Ocean through a stunning music soundtrack featuring works by classical greats such as Vivaldi and Gershwin and contemporary composers including Ross Edwards and John Butler.
Allow Perth Symphony Orchestra to take you on a journey under the waves and into the heart of the sea!
