‘Mozart by Candlelight’ Program

Enter the iconic St George’s Cathedra, flooded in candlelight.

Perth Symphony Orchestra welcomes you to our ever popular Candlelight series, returning after a year’s hiatus to celebrate and reimagine the music of none other than Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

We were delighted to commission our first ever classical piece, a reimagining of Mozart’s famous Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, by Melbourne’s Joe Chindamo. We cannot wait to perform this as a world premiere for you tonight.

Get ready to hear Mozart as never before (Chindamo, Dove, Bowman), along with his most beloved classics and greatest earworms of all time.

Rondo: Allegro

BOWMAN – Homage to Mozart

DOVE  – An Airmail Letter from Mozart

We perform music from Mozart to Metallica, Björk to Beethoven and everything in between. Our mission is ‘Music for Everyone’ and by taking the orchestra out of the concert hall and into communities across WA, we are proud to have performed to over 250,000 people so far. Stay tuned, as this is just the beginning!
