One of the world’s most unique artists is next in line for Perth Symphony’s compelling orchestra treatment. The orchestra, known for their extraordinary performances that celebrate some of the most loved contemporary music, will take you on a symphonic exploration of the music of Prince like nothing before. From soul to disco, psychedelia to classical – Prince’s eclectic and innovative works spanned a multitude of styles. He experimented with sound and pioneered genres that were yet to be named.
Featuring Perth Symphony musicians plus guest vocalists Hans Fiance, Sam Nafie, Ali Bodycoat and Amy Reeves performing arrangements by Rebecca Erin Smith, Simon Kruit and Kate Milligan, this is a true celebration of the undeniable musical talent and persona that was Prince, produced and performed entirely by West Australian talent.
