Perth Symphony was founded in 2011 and is known as the orchestra that breaks the rules. With over 220 musicians regularly employed by us, we are creating a home for WA talent.

We play in places and spaces you’d never expect to find an orchestra, from sheds to warehouses, foyers to art deco cinemas and aeroplane hangers! We perform music from Mozart to Metallica, Björk to Beethoven and everything in between. Our mission is ‘Music for Everyone’ and by taking the orchestra out of the concert hall and into communities across WA, we are proud to have performed to over 250,000 people so far. Stay tuned, as this is just the beginning!

Thank You!

Thank you to the amazing team at His Majesty’s Theatre, for being so fantastic to work  with and letting us go a little crazy in their beautiful venue.

A special thank you to Mardie Rosich from Mardie and Co. and Print Logic for their styling genius.

The costumes worn by the musicians were kindly provided by the Gilbert and Sullivan Society  and the amazing Rose Parker – thank you.

We would like to give a special mention and shout out to Harvey Rae – who probably had one of the hardest jobs in helping us choose this epic set list!

Thank you to our friends with ‘funny’ accents – Cara Fesjian, John McGlue and Michael Levine, and everyone else who helped record voice overs and effects for this production.

Thank you as always to our admin team, crew and incredible volunteers, and of course, our amazing musicians, without whom this concert would simply not be the same!

Perth Symphony would like to thank Foundation Partner AHG, Sustainability Partners Minderoo Foundation and Tim Roberts Giving, Platinum Partner Programmed and Orchestra Partner Coogee for their on going support.
