If you didn’t already have a listen, you can hear it on Apple podcasts or where-ever you binge on podcasts! Also available on SoundCloud.
Perth Symphony would like to acknowledge support from Presenting Partner AHG, Concert Partner Brownes Dairy and Venue Partner Scotch College in bringing this concert to life.
Special thanks to the team at Scotch College who let us transform their beautiful Dickinson Centre into a winter wonderland!
We’d also like to give a special mention to the two winners of our ‘Search for a Star’ competition: Danny and James for singing so beautifully with us today, we hope you both continue to sing and we look forward to sharing the stage with you in the future.
Of course, a massive thank you to Conductor and host Jessica Gethin, concertmaster Paul Wright, soloists Courtney Murphy and Emma Pettermerides, and our wonderful musicians who have filled us with Christmas spirit!
And no concert would be possible without the help of our incredible team of volunteers – we cannot thank you enough.

Perth Symphony was founded in 2011 and is known as the orchestra that breaks the rules. With over 220 musicians regularly employed by us, we are creating a home for WA talent.
We play in places and spaces you’d never expect to find an orchestra, from sheds to warehouses, foyers to art deco cinemas and aeroplane hangers! We perform music from Mozart to Metallica, Björk to Beethoven and everything in between. Our mission is ‘Music for Everyone’ and by taking the orchestra out of the concert hall and into communities across WA, we are proud to have performed to over 250,000 people so far. Stay tuned, as this is just the beginning!
