Our team of remarkable volunteers have ranged in age from 12 to 70 years. From parents, friends, children and partners of the orchestra, to university music students and music lovers, to high school students looking for a fun way to accrue community service hours, our volunteers are a tireless, passionate group of people who want to see Perth Symphony succeed and help us on our journey.

Volunteers need endless patience, a sense of humour, an infectious smile, a can-do attitude, oh – and must look good in a PSO T-shirt (but we’ve yet to find someone that doesn’t!). Some jobs require moving chairs and other heavy things, others simply welcoming guests or patrons with a smile.

They’ve helped the door, ushered people to seats, filled envelopes, carried trays of food, run errands, light candles, directed traffic, helped with the box office, and so so much more.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Below, we have a simple form for you to complete, and we will be in touch when the next volunteering opportunity arises.

You can view our Volunteer Policy here.

We welcome you to our team.
