Young Musical Talent Shines at Inaugural PSO Competition
The inaugural City of Joondalup Young Musician of the Year Award presented by Perth Symphony Orchestra (PSO) culminated in a thrilling live final at Sacred Heart College, Joondalup.
After a rigorous selection process involving video submissions, a select group of talented young musicians advanced to the live final. Here, they performed in front of a panel of esteemed adjudicators, showcasing their exceptional skills and artistry.
The competition was a testament to the rich musical talent within Western Australia. The finalists captivated the audience with their performances, demonstrating technical proficiency, musicality, and stage presence.
Joshua Noronha emerged as the ultimate winner, securing the title of City of Joondalup Young Musician of the Year. His outstanding performance impressed the judges and earned him the opportunity to perform with the Perth Symphony Orchestra in 2025, along with his first prize!
