Orchestra-oke: A Night to Remember

What do you get when you cross an orchestral concert with a karaoke sing-along? Orchestra-oke! A free, fun, and family-friendly event that brought the Perth community together for an unforgettable evening of music, laughter, and sing-along magic.

Once again, we have proved that classical instruments can rock the pop charts, delivering a spectacular night of entertainment. Attendees arrived with picnic baskets in hand, while others explored the delicious offerings from our local food vendors. As the sun set, the stage came alive with singers of all skill levels – from seasoned vocalists to first-time performers – each stepping up to belt out their favourite pop hits, all with the powerful backing of a live orchestra.

The atmosphere was electric as the audience joined in, turning the event into the ultimate community sing-along. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of hearing your favourite songs played by a full symphony while you and hundreds of others sing along in perfect harmony (or enthusiastic effort!).

This feel-good evening was a highlight of the Perth Festival, bringing people together through the joy of music. Whether you were in the spotlight on stage or cheering from the crowd, Orchestra-oke proved that music truly is for everyone.
