Electric Symphony — A high-voltage celebration of sound and light
For one night only, Perth's multi-level Plaza becomes an open-air colosseum of sound and light, where symphony collides with rock, pop and the biggest dance anthems of all time. Arrive for golden-hour drinks as the Plaza comes alive around you, pop-up bars pour South West wines, cocktails and spritzes, with food stalls to explore all night. Across three live acts, the energy builds from sunset drinks and orchestral classics into house anthems and a full-scale Friday night party under city lights.
Perth Symphony raids the mixtape, rebuilding the classics with a 22-piece orchestra, powerhouse vocalists and gospel choir. Nostalgic, unexpected and alive; think the best of Nirvana, George Michael, Bowie, Prince and Eurythmics.
PSO's electric strings, DJ Wildflower and live vocalists blur the line between concert hall and Ibiza dancefloor. From the golden age of house music to the biggest dance anthems of a generation spanning Daft Punk, Moloko and Armand Van Helden through to Eric Prydz, Calvin Harris and Avicii.
One of Perth's most celebrated DJs takes control of the colosseum for the final act, where big dance records collide with live brass and unexpected musical moments to close out the night.
